BriefSANE sells a small permanent clothing collection instead of seasonal releases. The brand needed a store that shows the collection, takes orders, and lets a customer follow the order after purchase.
ConstraintsThe design is dark only, and it must hold the restrained look of the brand. The platform also had to carry a full commerce database from the first day, not a catalogue that is replaced later.
Decisions
- 01I built the storefront, the catalogue, and the lookbook in the Next.js App Router
- 02I put the product and order data in PostgreSQL through Prisma, so the schema is ready for commerce
- 03I added an administration dashboard with charts for the orders
- 04I added a QR check-in page, so a code identifies a customer at an event
- 05I connected Clerk for accounts, Resend for email, and Sentry for error reports
